The Guidelines on investment of available financial means set out how DGSs should invest their funds to ensure diversification, low risk and sufficient liquidity. The proposals support DGSs’ ability to rapidly mobilise funds not only for depositor reimbursement, but also for resolution and other interventions within their mandate, as strengthened under DGSD3.
