EBA launches call for candidates to expand its reserve list for the Banking Stakeholder Group

The European Banking Authority (EBA) today launched a call for interest to expand its reserve list of candidates who can be appointed in the current Banking Stakeholder Group (BSG) when a vacancy arises.  The EBA is expanding the existing reserve list so as to fulfil its needs until the end of the current BSG mandate on 30 June 2024. The deadline for application is 16 September 2022 by no later than 23.59 CET.

Application process

This call for expression of interest is open to applicants representing stakeholders across the European Union. The deadline for application is 16 September 2022 by no later than 23.59 CET.

The application should be accompanied by a CV, preferably in Europass format. Candidates are also invited to provide a letter of motivation clearly stating the reasons for the application as well as main expectations as to the candidate's future contribution to the work of the BSG.

Background

The BSG is set up, according to Article 37 of the EBA Founding Regulation, to help facilitate dialogue and consultation with stakeholders on the work of the EBA. It is composed of 30 members appointed by the EBA Board of Supervisors (BoS), following an open and transparent selection procedure and taking into account geographical and gender balance as well as diversity of the banking sector and representation of the stakeholders across the Union.
