Public meetings registers

The EBA is committed to good governance and transparency in line with Article 15 TFEU and Article 42 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. The public meetings register contributes to this by publishing information on meetings held by EBA staff with advocacy entities, stakeholders from financial market, representatives of third-country treasuries, non-EU governments/ministries/officials/parliamentary bodies, international bodies, as well as public hearings.

By attending a meeting with the EBA, participants understand that their names and the organisations they represent are recorded and made publicly available in the public meetings register. The personal data collected will be handled in accordance with data protection rules as detailed in the data protection notice.

The EBA may exceptionally accept a participant’s reasoned request to withhold their name. When assessing such a request, the EBA considers the impact on public access to information, and balances interests such as transparency, good governance, data protection, due diligence and the participant’s interest. Such requests should be made to the meeting organiser at the EBA or the Data Protection Officer at dpo@eba.europa.eu.
