The EBA offers hands-on development programmes for young people at every stage: from curious high-school students to recent graduates. You will learn by doing, work in a multicultural EU Agency, and build skills, connections and confidence for what’s next.
Job shadowing internship programme (ages 14-19)
Curious about what working for the EU and at the EBA is really like? Spend 1-2 weeks shadowing professionals and get a behind-the-scenes look at real jobs.
- Open to high-school students
- Application open but recommendation to apply between November and February (no intake in August and December)
- Unpaid, with possible canteen support
- On-site at the EBA premises
Students programme (post-secondary & higher education)
Need practical experience for your studies? Join the EBA for 1–5 months to gain hands-on experience or complete your mandatory academic training.
- Open to students in post-secondary or higher education
- Application open but recommendation to apply between November and February (no intake in August and December)
- Unpaid, with possible canteen support
- On-site at the EBA premises
Traineeship programme (university graduates)
Ready to jump into professional life? Gain deep, practical experience over 6–18 months putting into practice your knowledge.
- Open to university graduates
- Application via the official traineeship vacancies only
- Monthly grant provided
- On-site at the EBA premises with teleworking opportunities
