In which format does the ISO country code (FINREP tables 6, 20.4, 20.5, 20.6, 20.7) need to be reported: Alpha-2 (eg.: BE), Alpha -3 (eg.: BEL) or three-digit numeric (eg.: 056)?
The format required could have an impact on our IT systems. Depending on the format required, an IT development has to be implemented.
Throughout the reporting templates in the Regulation (EU) No 680/2014 13 ITS on supervisory reporting of institutionsDraft ITS on Supervisory reporting, the ISO code shall be reported on the basis of Alpha-2 (e.g.: BE).
The ISO code 3166-1-alpha-2, which includes pseudo-ISO codes for international organisations as well, is available in the last edition of the Eurostat 's "Balance of Payments Vademecum ": http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/portal/page/portal/balance_of_payments/documents/7724_14228_2007_EN_3.pdf.
