Workshop with industry and members of the Subgroup on Analytical Tools: Paving the way for the EBA data hub

The EBA is organising a workshop on its EUCLID ecosystem and data hub infrastructure, which will take place will take place virtually on 25 September 2024 from 09:00 to 17:30.
The objective of the workshop is to share information and exchange views between members of national competent authorities and industry representatives, extending participation for the first time to industry experts in charge of compiling or analysing fraudulent payments data later submitted to the EBA.
The workshop will cover topics such as:
- evolution of EBA analysis tools and use of innovative approaches and technologies for EBA risk and resolution indicators and related publications;
- quality of data and master data collected by EBA, including its impact on EBA registers;
- existing and upcoming data collections in the context of the EBA reporting framework; and
- evolution of file transmission format and EBA validation rules.
The EBA will provide an update on the state of play of other important projects such as Integrated Reporting and Pillar 3 data hub.
The target audience of this workshop includes banking sector, payment institutions and investment firms’ representatives, particularly those participating in data submissions to national authorities and the EBA under the supervisory and resolution reporting frameworks. This workshop is likely to be of interest also to third-party vendors working closely with the abovementioned industry representatives. Experts of industry associations or federations in this field are welcome. Members of national authorities for supervision, resolution, investment firms and payment services are also invited to participate in this workshop.
