EBA Mapping Tool - Template EU KM1 Logic
- Question
-
In relation to the EBA Mapping Tool that specifies the mapping of the templates and tables for disclosures with those on supervisory reporting, we believe that the logic provided is incorrect for the certain cell references within the EU KM1 Template.
- Background on the question
-
The current logic for each of these cells references is as follows:
- EU KM1, rEU 7d, col d : {C 03.00, r0130, c0010} - 8% - ({C 03.00, r0150, c0010} - 6%). Data as of reference date T-3. Part of the logic should be deleted , ie - ({C 03.00, r0150, c0010} - 6%)
- EU KM1, rEU 14a, col b : {C 47.00, r0350, 0010}/{EU KM1, 13}. Data as of the preceding reference date. Reference date data point to be amended/inserted
- EU KM1, rEU 14b, col b : {C 47.00, r0360, 0010}/{EU KM1, 13}. Data as of the preceding reference date. Reference date data point to be amended/inserted
- EU KM1, rEU 14c, col b : {C 47.00, r0420, c0010). Data as of the preceding reference date. Reference date data point to be amended/inserted.

- Rationale for rejection
-
This question has been rejected because the issue it raises is beyond the remit of the Q&A process and as such it cannot be addressed via a Q&A. The matter it refers to will however be considered for a forthcoming version of the mapping tool.
The Single Rule Book Q&A tool has been established to provide explanations and non-binding interpretations on questions relating to the practical application or implementation of the provisions of legislative acts referred to in Article 1(2) of the EBA’s founding Regulation, as well as associated delegated and implementing acts, and guidelines and recommendations, adopted under these legislative acts. The Q&A process cannot, for example, consider issues which would require changes to the regulatory framework.
For further information on the purpose of this tool and on how to submit questions, please see “Additional background and guidance for asking questions”.
