CEBS and CESR organises second public hearing on commodities

The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) and the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) are organising a second public hearing on commodities on  4 September 2008 at the CEBS premises in London. The public consultation on the CESR/CEBS advice on Commodities closed on 1 August 2008. The responses have been be published on the CESR and CEBS websites www.cesr.eu and on this site.

The industry responses on the consultation are currently beeing analysed and considering possible/necessary revisions of the advice to the European Commission. As already indicated at the first public hearing on 7 July 2008 it is also planned to discuss the outcome of these considerations at the second public hearing. A revised version of the draft advice will be available a few days before this date.
