The EBA, ESMA, and EIOPA sent a joint Letter to Michel Barnier, European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, on the possible regulatory framework for benchmark activities.

This letter was sent following the European Commission public consultation on a possible framework for the regulation of the production and use of indices serving as benchmarks in financial and other contracts.
