Application process

Candidates should send their applications electronically within the respective deadline (always until 12:00 noon Paris time of the date stated in the vacancy notice). In the field "subject" of their e-mail, they must quote the reference number of the selection procedure as well as the position they wish to apply for. Candidates wishing to apply for more than one position must submit, in separate e-mails, an application for each position quoting the appropriate vacancy reference and attaching the full set of relevant documents:

  • A full CV in the Europass format. The CV must give the exact dates (day/month/year) of obtaining any diploma(s) and also of any professional experience which is claimed and can be documented. In case of part-time professional experience, the number of hours worked per week must be indicated.
  • A motivation letter, and
  • The eligibility criteria grid (if required in the vacancy notice).

Applicants for the positions of National Experts on Secondment must provide a formal employer statement for the secondment from their sending authority/employer once the position is offered to them.

Interviews will be in English and will be held at the EBA's premises in Paris or remotely. Knowledge of other languages may also be assessed. Native English speakers may be tested in a second foreign language.
