CEBS and CEIOPS published today recommendations for supervisory colleges of financial conglomerates

CEBS today publishes its liquidity identity card

CEBS publishes a good practices paper on the functioning of Colleges of supervisors for cross-border banking groups
Following the publication in January 2006 of the
"Guidelines for Cooperation between Consolidating Supervisor and Host Supervisors", CEBS has been working to improve home-host cooperation and to enhance the functioning of the Colleges of supervisors. The document released today reflects current good practices that some supervisors of large EU cross-border banking groups have established or are currently developing to shape their cooperation within Colleges of supervisors under the scope of legislation currently in force.

CEBS has published a revised Template for written agreements between supervisors for the functioning of colleges.
Since mid 2006 CEBS has worked on enhancing the functioning of colleges of supervisors. The first result of the work CEBS has done on the functioning of colleges was finalised and published in December 2007. One of the results was a Template for written agreements (Template), which aims to provide a framework for cooperation among supervisors within a college of supervisors and facilitates the effective working of supervisory colleges of supervisors.

CEBS publishes a paper on the "Range of practices on supervisory colleges and home-host co-operation" as well as a template for a "multilateral co-operation and co-ordination agreement"
After the publication in January 2006 of the "Guidelines for cooperation between consolidating supervisor and host supervisors" CEBS has been working to develop smooth home-host cooperation and discuss practical issues emerging from the application of the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) and the related CEBS Guidelines, with a view to identifying common ways forward.

CEBS publishes guidelines on supervisory cooperation for cross-border banking and investment firm groups
The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) today published final guidelines on cooperation between supervisors of EU banking groups and investment firms. The guidelines are designed to promote an efficient supervisory framework for groups that operate in several EU jurisdictions, by enhancing the practical operational networking of national supervisors.
