CEBS has organised a second round of public consultation on some aspects of the validation and assessment of the risk management and risk measurement systems (CP10 revised) used by credit institutions and investment firms to calculate their capital requirements. The consultation closed on 16 February 2006.

CEBS has published a consultation paper on the validation and assessment of the risk management and risk measurement systems(CP10) used by credit institutions and investment firms for the calculation of their capital requirements. The consultation period closed on 30 October 2005.

CEBS has issued its draft guidelines for greater supervisory cooperation (CP09) for EU banking and investment firm groups under the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD). Through enhanced co-operation between supervisors, these guidelines aim to avoid any excessive supervisory burden on groups that operate across several EU jurisdictions. The consultation closed 8 November 2005.

CEBS has published a consultation paper on its role and tasks (CP08), taking stock of the experience gained over the first year of its existence. The paper explains CEBS’ overall approach to meeting its main objectives, as well as the tools at its disposal. The consultation is open to all interested parties. The consultation period closed on 28 October 2005.

CEBS has published a supplementary note to its Consultation Paper on the recognition of external credit assessment institutions - ECAIs - published in June 2005. The supplementary note sets out further details on CEBS' work on the use of ECAI credit assessments for securitisations and collective investment undertakings. The consultation closed on 30 November 2005.

CEBS has published its consultation paper on the guidelines for a common approach to the recognition of External Credit Assessment Institutions (ECAIs) (CP07). The consultation closed on 30 September 2005.

CEBS starts a formal consultation on amendments to its Guidelines on Financial Reporting (CP06rev). The formal consultation starts with the banking industry, market participants and end-users. The consultation period starts today and lasts for one month by 20 May 2007.

CEBS' has published its consultation paper that focuses on the development of a standardised consolidated financial reporting framework (CP06) for credit institutions. The consultation closed on 8 July 2005.

CEBS has published its consultation paper on the guidelines for implementing a common European framework for supervisory disclosure (CP05). The consultation closed on 24 June 2005. CEBS redrafted its proposals to include some of the suggestions it received in the consultation and CEBS' CP05 Feedback paper presents a summary of the key points and the changes made to address them.

The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) is publishing a proposal to amend the Guidelines on Common Reporting (COREP) for the periodic reporting to supervisory authorities in the EU by a supervised entity of its solvency under the recast Directives 2006/48/EC and 2006/49/EC. This proposal aims at EU-wide harmonisation of the reporting frequency used by supervisory authorities and at the harmonisation of the maximum remittance periods for sending in this information. CEBS is expecting feedback on this proposal by 19 April 2008.

Our fourth Consultation Paper, ( CP04 ) aims to achieve a common framework for reporting of the solvency ratio by credit institutions. The consultation period closed on the 30 April 2005.

CEBS has published a second consultation paper on Supervisory Review Process. The new paper called Application of the Supervisory Review Process under Pillar 2 (CP03 revised) is a revised and expanded version of CEBS’ first consultation in 2004. CEBS has redrafted its proposals to include some of the suggestions it received in the consultation and CEBS' CP03 Feedback paper presents a summary of the key points arising in the first consultation and the changes made to address them. The second consultation closed on 21 October 2005.

Our third Consultation Paper, ( CP03 ) sets out a general overview of the approach which has been developed by the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) towards the implementation of Pillar 2 of the revised Basel Accord ("Basel II") and the relevant provisions of the Capital Requirements Directive.

Consultation has been closed. The final guidelines have been published together with the feedback document.

Our second Consultation Paper, ( CP02 ), is in respect of a high level set of principles on outsourcing.  It is published on 30 April 2004 and the period of consultation responses closed on 31 July 2004.  We have published the responses on these pages.

Consultation period has been closed. CEBS is processing the responses and preparing standards for banking sector in line with other requirements.

The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) has published today the amended Public Statement of Consultation Practices, which was submitted for a three-month public consultation on 19 March 2007. This amendment foresees the procedures to be followed in case of a limited or drafting amendment to CEBS products.

CEBS has published its feedback document and final version of the Public Statement of Consultation Practices (CP01). The paper outlines standard steps and timelines that CEBS is to follow in its consultation processes.

Our first Consultation Paper, CP01, is entitled Public Statement of Consultation Practices . It was published on 29 April 2004 and the period for consultation responses closed on 31 July 2004.  The responses have been published.
