Calls for expression of interest

The Authority may organize calls for expressions of interest. A call for expressions of interest is a means of pre-selecting candidates who may be invited to submit tenders in response to possible future restricted invitations to tender. Any interested person or company may submit an application at any time during the period of validity of the list, with the exception of the last three months of that period.

The list drawn up following a call for expressions of interest shall be used for those contracts whose estimated value falls over €60,000 but below the threshold for the Public Procurement Directive (€130,000 for services and supplies contracts and €5,000,000 for works contracts).

Where a specific contract is to be awarded, the Authority will send the tender documents and the invitation to tender either to all the candidates on the list, or to certain selected candidates who meet the pre-selection criteria for the contract concerned.
