The Junior Policy Expert we are looking for will play an important role in the regulatory efforts of the new EBA in the area of investment services.
In particular, under the overall management of the Director of Regulation, the Junior Policy Expert will contribute to the development of guidelines and binding technical standards as part of the EU common rulebook and will facilitate
national authorities in implementing and applying these guidelines and standards in a consistent way in day-to-day supervisory practices.

The Budget Officer will play a leading role in the budgeting process of the EBA ensuring the preparation and management of the EBA tools and operations for budget planning and execution, including the monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of this execution. The jobholder will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Under the responsibility of the Head of the Policy Analysis and Coordination Unit, the Junior Policy Expert will assist in the coordination of EBA policy positions, both internally and with external policy makers and regulatory bodies, and also in providing support to the EBA’s Banking Stakeholder Group.
