EBA provides input based on the Single Rulebook Q&As to the European Commission's CRR-CRD review

05 August 2016

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today the outcome of a review of its Single Rulebook Q&As, which provides an overview of possible errors, inconsistencies as well as fundamental issues in relation to the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) observed via the Single Rulebook Q&A tool managed by the ЕВА.

The input provided to the Commission includes both a general assessment as well as more specific findings, which are further detailed in twelve annexes grouped by topics of the CRR-CRD texts covered in the legislative review.

The EBA will use the outcome of its review to continue its technical discussions and collaboration with the EU Commission services in the context of the CRR/CRD review.
