The role's main responsibilities include:
 
  • Participating in the development and taking responsibility for timely completion of guidelines, binding technical standards or any other policy products relevant for supervisory convergence across the EU;
     
  • Contributing to EBA assessments of policy implementation, including the identification of effective convergence including mapping, analysing and promoting best supervisory practices in the capital and liquidity adequacy assessment;
     
  • Participation in the work of supervisory colleges including guidance and feedback to the competent authorities on college activities;
     
  • Providing implementation advice and guidance related to relevant EBA policies including the provision of training;
     
  • Preparing policy stances and providing policy advices;
     
  • Providing support to the EBA internal committees and subgroups and their chairpersons;
     
  • To the extent necessary, externally representing the EBA at a technical level in his/her area of expertise.
